Below are some headlines from local newspapers related to incidents surrounding underage drinking in our community.

Our local Papers are never short on stories when it comes to incidents relating to underage drinking, they remind us on a weekly basis of the damage our community and its residents are experiencing at the hands of young people who engage in consuming large amounts of alcohol just for a laugh.

Martin Connolly informs our pupils about some of the complaints and concerns he receives on a daily basis from some of our local residents.

Q – What kind of complaints do you receive about underage drinking?
A – Unfortunately I receive a lot of complaints about anti-social behaviour taking place as a result of young people consuming large amounts of alcohol which they cannot handle.

Q – What kind of anti-social behaviour?
